it's build with metal strings and unidirectional fiber reinforced ultrahigh performance concrete UHPC, creating the structural parts of this CNC machine that can be made with molds and after steam curing in 2 days with little shrinkage the parts can be cnc milled, coated, milled and polished for precision.
It uses pneumatic clutch and dovetail pneumatic rail powered by sloped POM plastic rack and pinion for movements and automatic tool change.
Because is built with concrete, instead epoxy granite, it's pretty affordable to build and can be built in different scales
UHPC has good vibration damping and it can have compressive strength similar to aluminium or iron with 450MPA, and can cure in 2 days with steam curing with little shrinkage.
