The recently closed leisure centre in Londonderry, Northern Ireland which was replaced by the new Foyle Arena in April 2015. A fascinating example of late 1970s design and sub-brutal elements. The concrete ceiling in the main pool hall is fantastic and the brick facades which appear internally as well as externally beckon a goneby era of modern architecture.
Completed in two days, with continuing effort to model the main pool hall from memory and estimated sketches completed by myself.
