An unfinished model of the old Mission and Mission Plaza in San Luis Obispo, California. Established in 1772 as one of the original missions in Central California, it is among the oldest buildings in the Western United States. Secularized in the 1850s, it was reestablished as a catholic church soon after California's statehood.
