An area measuring 30 x 30 metres with trees and a person for scale, a screenshot of this is so often requested on my Google Docs, that I'm uploading the model and providing a link to it from there, just that I've never found out why so many people want further access to the image, beyond merely looking at it...
Suffice it to say - In Sketchup, tap 'R', then with mouse - click and drag, release and type 30,30 then press enter.
Don't worry if it's not in metres, just tap Ctrl+A, then tap S and left click and drag a corner before typing to enter the amount to scale it up or down by [e.g. 1000 will convert a 30mm square, 393.7 will convert one that's 30 inches].
You can add trees and people by looking in File>Import and finding the 'Components'.
