A semi-submersible littoral ship with a catamaran hull designed to be a floating forward operating base and/or replenishment base for friendly helicopters (to rearm, refuel, or repair) closer to the beach during an amphibious offense. It houses 50 crew and has an available space for another 50 persons, it has a hospital, canteen, ammunition stock room, gym, and a convenience store for the pleasure of the crews.
It is armed with two FL-3000N CIWS and three Goalkeeper 30mm CIWS to protect the ship from aerial threats, close protection are provided by 12 M2 .50 caliber machine guns and four Mk 32 Mod 2 25mm autocannons. The landing pads can accomodate four aircrafts and a hoisting bay for RHIBs are located under the ship.
