I love this mount. It is cheap, metal, can be easily hacked and adapted, and fits nearly all small to medium sized projectors. It makes for a good permanent mounting solution or something that can be adjusted for art installations or projection mapping.
I needed to use it for some modeling of mounts and I made a 3D model to aid in that.
As you can compare in the pictures online and this model I did a little hacking to make it more compact, rigid, and maneuverable. Notably, I removed the baseplate. I then drilled and tapped the bottom column for a direct 1/4-20 thread to the mount.
