The Brabham BT50 was a Formula One racing car designed by Gordon Murray for the Brabham team, owned by Bernie Ecclestone, for the 1982 Formula One season. The car was powered by a 1.5L V4 turbo BMW engine with a Hewland/Alfa gearbox, and driven by Defending Champion Nelson Piquet and Riccardo Patrese, and won one race, the Canadian Grand Prix. It scored four other point scoring finishes, helping the team to finish fifth in the constructors championship. The BT50 had double wishbone suspension and pullrod activation coil spring/damper units, which were semi-inboard,while its monocoque was an aluminium tub with carbon stiffening panels. This model has an engine cover that is movable as a component revealing the internals of the car. #Brabham #BT50 #car #F1 #Formula_1 #Grand_Prix #racing_car #Turbo
