This is my interpretation of the Blastech T-21 Light Repeating Blaster from Star Wars: A New Hope used by the lead Sandtrooper dispatched to recover the droids. It is based on the WWI Era Lewis Machine Gun with the rotary gun magazine and the bi-pod field mount removed. The details added to the gun barrel by the prop maker are commonly thought to be a section of corregated tubing and some kind of half moon "sight" behind the tubing. However, after studying HD screen captures up close from the movie at various angles, I have determined that the "corregated tubing" is actually a thick piece of wire wrapped around the barrel and the "half-moon sight" is actually a coiled wire at the base of the barrel. #Blastech #Blaster #Light #Repeating #Sandtrooper #Star_Wars #T21
