IMI Detail 06.130.0102. This detail shows tile laid in a bed of mortar on a wood subfloor. The tile is adhered using a dry-set or latex-modified portland cement mortar bond coat (optional). There is a cleavage membrane on the plywood, separating the tile assembly from the subfloor. The sand and cement mortar bed is reinforced with 2" x 2" wire mesh. The wood subfloor has 1/8" gap between the exterior glue tongue & groove plywood sheets. This detail is based on TCNA Method F141.
