This sustainable, 6-story urban dwelling uses glass, concrete and brick to create a comfortable & livable, urban apartment dwelling, with 5 units per floor (2 two-bedroom units, 2 one-bedroom units, and 1 studio apartment), each with lots of light, balconies, and 10-foot ceilings. Each unit has it’s own washer/dryer & lots of built-in closets. My goal with this design was the efficiency of space, without sacrificing comfort, and making the units feel larger with the use of light and windows.
There is underground parking, as well as an outdoor carport on the North side of the building. The building also has 2 glass elevators & a swimming pool. The top of the building is intended to be a common area, for the use of all tenants. There are also 2 green houses on the roof-level.
Each floor is it’s own group, so you can hide different groups/components to view inside each unit. The apartments on one side of the building are furnished, but I didn’t see any reason to do the other side. Only the top 2 floors show the bathroom details. I’ve not yet gotten round to designing the lobby or the parking garage (both at street-level).
Thank you to the creator of the trees, the glass elevator ( I altered it), the stove, the patio furniture (I altered them), the pergola (I altered it), and a few pieces of the furniture, all of which I got from the 3D warehouse. The rest I created myself.
