This aircraft was built in 1990 and delivered to the Polish Air Force's 36th Special Aviation Regiment in July of that year. It operated as the transport aircraft for the Polish Heads of State. It crashed on 10 April 2010 while it was carrying Polish President Lech Kaczynski to Smolensk, Russia. All 96 people onboard, including Kaczynski and his wife were killed. The remaining state transport Tu-154M, 102, was put in storage.
