This is a model of a generic Victorian-era schoolhouse like those found in cities and neighborhoods that were developed during the late 19th Century and early 20th Century. This model was based on the long-gone Edgemont School in Durham, NC, which was built in 1900. The building is large, with a central entry bay flanked by two wings each containing classrooms and has three levels as well as an attic. In the rear are two added 1920s classroom wings and an auditorium. Feel free to use this model as you see fit, on the condition that you contact me first so I know where it is being used (I'd love to see it wherever it ends up), and give me a mention or credit wherever it is used or published. #School #Victorian #HistoricArchitecture #VanishedAmerica
