Coat rack by Le Corbusier

Coat rack by Le Corbusier

David Heim
This piece was designed in about 1950 by the noted architect Le Corbusier and designer Charlotte Perriand. The original was made of oak and meant to be wall-mounted. The lugs that hold coats can be moved to any crosspiece. The hoop is probably meant to hold an umbrella. I based this fully detailed model on images seen on the 1stdibs.com web site. #Charlotte_Perriand #coat_rack #Corbusier #Le_Corbusier #modern_French_furniture #oak #wallmounted_furniture
