Layer House - Hiroaki Ohtani

Layer House - Hiroaki Ohtani

Efren M.
A tiny house Hiroaki Ohtani built for himself in Kobe, Japan. Made of stacked concrete beams, this unconventional house sits on a rented parcel of land measuring only 355 square feet and costing around US$300,000 to build. The model is fairly accurate in dimension, with furniture and fixtures in place. Dimensions are from drawings published in Architectural Record magazine and images from various internet sources were also used as reference. Please look inside to appreciate the innovations and ideas the architect employed in this masterpiece. #architecture #dwelling #Hiroaki_Ohtani #house #Japan #Layer_House #modern_house
