The wonder is that this thing ever managed to get in the air. But it did. On Lake Maggiore in Italy on 4 March, 1921. It reached 18 metres in altitude. Then it crashed. Then it burned. It never flew again. Interesting, though. #aeroplane #aircraft #flying_boat #Italian #vintage
