This was a conceptual design for a Sonic Drive-in that was proposed to occupy the corner of Cherokee Avenue and Frank Phillips Blvd. in Bartlesville OK. The proposed Sonic called for the demolition of an historic auto dealership building built in 1905. The proposed design was a possible compromise that kept the facade of the original building maintaining the street wall and incorporated it into a modern Sonic drive-in. The design was provided by Downtown Bartlesville Inc, an accredited Main Street Program and a project of the Bartlesville Community Foundation, from ideas presented by several groups and individuals and was an not endorsement of any side in the proposed project. It was only to illustrate the ideas in a 3D view for the public and the franchise to consider.
