During the events of "Akira", the Japanese government utilizes this mysterious truck to transport Tetsuo Shima to their facility in central Neo-Tokyo, after it becomes apparent that his powers are getting more erratic. At the end of the movie, Doctor Onishi is killed when his CRC truck implodes under the forces of Akira.
This model is a near-faithful reproduction from the movie. Certain creative liberties were taken, though. Enjoy kidnapping your psychic characters in this all-purpose truck! Comes without interior or city-destroying kid!
