Ephemeral by Jesse Kane was chosen as one of the finalists for Artaic's 2013 Design 'N Gather (DNG) Mosaic Competition.

Creativity, collaboration, and innovation were key elements in the Design ‘N Gather (DNG) Mosaic Design Competition organized by Artaic and Design Exchange Boston (DxB). Those themes were carried through the competition and were clearly presented by the winning entries.
Artaic uses unique technologies to design and fabricate custom architectural tile-work. Through the DNG competition, which included a series of in-person and online workshops, designers and artists from all backgrounds were provided the tools to create their own mosaic murals. The mural designs could then be submitted for the opportunity to be produced permanently installed in Gather, a new restaurant located within District Hall, in the heart of Boston’s ever-growing Innovation District.
