The White House Entrance Hall, located on the first floor of the Executive Mansion, is the official entrance space of the residence, although the Ground Floor Diplomatic Reception Room is used for entrances from State Arrival Ceremonies, which take place on the South Lawn. The Entrance Hall underwent significant alteration during the Truman Reconstruction, which saw the foot of the grand staircase moved there from its original location in the Cross Hall.
Update 1.5.0 includes changes to the color palette, significant improvements to the Grand Staircase, and the addition of sculptural details and torchieres.
