On 5 June 2013, Glenn Greenwald of The Guardian reported that the United States National Security Agency collects tons of data from customers of the cell phone provider Verizon Wireless. The information was provided to him by ex-NSA contractor Edward Snowden. Greenwald had no idea that he had just triggered a revolution. Since then, we have learned that the 'Five Eyes' (USA, AUS, NZ, UK, CAN) literally knows about anything you do. They know that I just misspelled "anything" and then corrected it before I even uploaded this model. It's a true "Nineteen Eighty-Four," a book written in 1949 by George Orwell about a government in 1984 that spies on everything. It's time we put an end to the 'Five Eyes.' Many protests have tried to stop it, such as a wave of protests called "Restore the Fourth," The Day We Fight Back, and the upcoming Reset The Net. Today we learned that the NSA used the recently-publicized 'Heartbleed' bug in the security service called OpenSSL to hack and warrantlessly spy.
We the People of the United States of America refuse the illegal, immoral, warrantless spying that is the PRISM program. We will fight back. We will not remain silent.
