A model of the former Little Chef at Appleby on the A66 in Cumbria. Opened between 1968 and 1972, Appleby was originally known as Ketland Moor and it was a great landmark along the A66. However, a set of closures had occured in 2012 and sadly Appleby was one of them. Since then, Appleby has been heavily refurbished and it is currently a cafe known as Cafe Sixty Six. This model is based on this particular Little Chef, mostly due to the fact that it was one of the smallest restaurants in the fleet, therefore it stands out.
