Fans of the classic Traveller role-playing game will recognize this ship as the 200-ton Free Trader, a common transport used throughout the Third Imperium for hauling passengers and cargo between worlds. These ships are typically the default ship used by beginning adventurer groups and mercenaries, the later are typically fitted with weapon turrets like this one. The vents on the sides of the ship are used for fuel "skimming" where the ship can dive into a gas giant's atmosphere and extract hydrogen for the fusion reactor.
