This is the central facade and two adjacent towers of the Cinderella Castle at Disney World. I'm building this model based solely on photographs I found on the net and some additional pictures a friend took while on a recent visit. It is not being built for full realism, but as a blueprint to build a headboard for my 6-year old daughter. The overall dimensions are about 54" wide, 60" high and 6" deep. It will sit on a base that is at mattress-height (about 2 feet), making to total height about 7 feet. Most of the major structural pieces will be made from 3/4" MDF, with details being done in pine or poplar. It will be painted to match the original as closely as possible (though I don't think I'll paint each individual brick in the tower walls).
