This sword was found by Perseus in a forest clearing. When he doesn't hold it, the blade magically retracts down to the handle. It was forged on Mount Olympus as a gift. This model was, by far, the hardest and largest model I've ever made. I had to trace it from an image, then I hand-stitched the handle by making arcs along each end-point and meshed them together. I also had to move the points that corresponded with the indentations on the handle. For the blade, I made the shape, then I moved the points of the blade up, and extruded the faces of the blade's center. Finally, I outlined the details on the blade and extruded them.
