NIDAGREEN® 228 has been designed for use as an underlay for artificial grass installations and a lightweight build-up layer for roof gardens. It is made from polypropylene with a honeycomb structure, which is then sandwiched between 2 layers of non-woven polyester fibre. The honeycomb has a cell diameter of 8 mm, a pressure resistance of 120 tonnes and water storage capacity of 26 litres per sqm. NIDAGREEN® 228 is supplied in a large format sheet size of 2.88 sqm for fast installation times and is easy to transport, handle on site and cut to size. NIDAGREEN® 228 is used by landscaping, artificial grass installers and building contractors as a replacement for heavy sub-base aggregates with the added benefits of providing a stable base that is free draining and has a water storage capacity, this keeps the artificial grass surface dry and prevents water logging in heavy rainfall.
