ITA Airways has received its first Airbus A220-300 wearing a special livery ‘Born to be Sustainable’, recognising the fact that “the Airbus A220 is the most efficient small-scale single-corridor aircraft in its category. It’s lighter, quieter and will benefit the Company 25% reduction in consumption and emissions of CO2 per passenger compared to the previous generation. This aircraft, with registration EI-HHI is one of four the airline has on order. The aircraft entered service on 16 October 2022.
ITA Airways ha ricevuto il suo primo A220-300 con la speciale livrea "Born to be Sustainable", riconoscendo il fatto che l'Airbus A220 è l'aereo di piccole dimensioni più efficiente della sua categoria, è più leggero, più silenzioso e produce una riduzione del 25% dei consumi e delle emissioni di CO2 per passeggero rispetto alla generazione precedente. Questo aereo, con matricola EI-HHI, è uno dei quattro ordinati dalla compagnia aerea. L'aereo è entrato in servizio il 16 ottobre 2022.
