GE ES44AH - Seaboard System (CSX Heritage)

TRG
The ES44AH is a diesel electric locomotive built by General Electric Transportation as part of its Evolution Series which began production in 2004. Starting in May of 2023, CSX Transportation began a program of painting General Electric ES44AH locomotives in heritage paint schemes commemorating its predecessor railroads. These locomotives can be seen pulling freight trains across the CSX system. In 1982, the Seaboard System was created out of the merger of three railroads in the southern United States; the Clinchfield, Louisville & Nashville, and the Seaboard Coast Line. Only a few year later in 1986, the Seaboard System would merge with the Chessie System to form modern-day CSX Transportation
