EMD SD9043MAC - Canadian Pacific Railway

TRG
Introduced in 1995, the SD90MAC, built by the General Motors Electro-Motive Division, is their largest single-engine diesel-electric locomotive along with the SD80MAC, surpassed only by the dual-engine DDA40X. These locomotives have a power output of 6,000 HP, and ride on steerable HTCR-4 trucks with AC traction motors. CP purchased SD9043MACs numbered 9100-9160. Of these, 30 were planned to be rebuilt into SD70ACUs in 2019. CP then purchased several orders of SD90MACs from Union Pacific to continue the SD70ACU rebuild program. #train #railroad #freight #canadian_pacific #locomotive
