An old style house. This house has somewhat of a New England colonial style to it. It is a small house, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. This house also includes a family room and living room. This house is not meant to look entirely or genuinely antique so the newer looking things in the house aren't exactly out of place. The newest thing I tried in this house was the creation of the wood siding. I wanted more realism than just a texture so I built 8" pieces to be installed around the house like wood siding. I also made a wood texture and applied it to the siding for an even more genuine look. Overall I am pleased with the result. The details of this house were made mostly by me. The interior doors are original, as are all crown molding, baseboard, and chair rails. The door and window frames are of my design and building. I also made the stair balusters and hand rail, and finally the porch columns. Most of these high quality building products are available for download in my Building Products collection. The kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, windows and exterior doors are all edited Google components. The cabinet crown molding is courtesy of Shinnah.
