USS Daniel Inouye is the newest destroyer equipped with the Aegis Combat System in the US Navy as of February 2022. She is the third of the eight planned Arleigh Burke Class Flight IIA Technology Insertion. The destroyer was commissioned on December 2021 and is currently stationed at Pearl Harbor.
