The Pentominium is a supertall skyscraper, currently approved for construction in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. When completed, the current design will stand at 516 m (1,693 ft) tall, with 120 floors aboveground. It has been designed by architects Aedas and funded by Trident International Holdings. The Pentominium is currently the second tallest proposed residential building in the world, the 610 m tall Chicago Spire being the first. The word 'Pentominium' is a portmanteau of penthouse and condominium. Each living space will have its own foyer and smart biometric access control. Every apartment will consist of either a complete or half of a floor in the building (more than 600 m²). According to Trident, the design aim is to provide the most luxurious apartments in the world, with each residence having access to a 24 hour per day butler service. Trident have also secured deals with external companies to ensure owners can make use of a Rolls Royce or high-end sports car of their choice, and sailing trips on luxury yachts over the Persian Gulf. The top floors of the Pentominium will contain a Sky Lounge, Sky Pool, Business Centre, and a private observation deck along with ladies & gentleman's health clubs and a cigar lounge, squash courts, a banqueting hall, and private theatre. Each individual residential unit will take up a complete floor of the tower providing over 6,500 sq ft (600 m²). of living space.
