Most ships, appart from shuttles, fighters and small freighters have onboard jumpengines to cross into Hyperspace. As for these smaller ships, they rely on larger ships to ferry them from system to system. However, when no jump-capable ships are available, EJEs come into play. The EJE is a large jump engine with a universla docing clamp that is compatible with most smaller ship classes. The EJE is made up of an engine and 4 stabilizer fins. Due to the enourmous forces that are unleashed when crossing into hyperspace, the eniter EJE is held together by cross beems to maximize structural integrity.
