Aires of Denny and Gladys Blood, who owned a small butcher shop in White River Junction, Vermont in the1950s, Mike and Brendon Blood constructed the Blood's Seafood & Catering building in 1984, simply known as Blood's Seafood. At first the building offered a restaurant serving fresh seafood and other cuts of meat with a "behind the counter" catering buisness. Five years later President of the family owned seafood and catering buisness, Mike Blood, expanded his buisness by adding new locatons in Brattleboro and Rutland, Vermont. Through the next ten years Blood's Seafood has had a profound establishment offering an upscale catering buisness in the Upper Valley. In 1999 Blood's Seafood & Catering earned the honor of becoming the Upper Valley's best restaurant and caterer.
