Here is an exact replica of the house where I grew up. Since the house still exists, I spent a lot of time there to get the model as accurate as possible. And then I put everything back to the way it was in the late 70s when I was a kid. Inside the house, you’ll find dozens of mini-models. I replicated all the furniture and fixtures from the actual pieces if they still exist, old photos, or my memory. Doing a walk-through of this model is just crazy, so freakishly familiar, such a blast from the past! The house itself dates back to 1926 and was purchased by my grandparents, a young couple, in 1930. It is very similar to the Sears Roebuck catalog houses of that time, however I can find no evidence that it actually is one.
