The building that holds the Ethnic Music Museum, Blanco Fadol collection, was built by the prestigious Murcia architect Jesús Carballal, by proposing a brilliant solution to blend an old flour mill with the latest architectonic trends with great formal beauty.
The architect also adapted Carlos Blanco Fadol´s ideas such as collecting rain water from the roof inside the museum and making it go down along a thick, old boat chain in order to produce sounds, water channels travelling inside the museum, as well as the hanging auditorium and stage. #barranda #blanco_fadol #caravaca_de_la_cruz #cultura #etnica #etnico #instrumentos #museo #musica
