This is a model of a pair of buildings once located at 2335 and 2337 Quebec Road in the South Fairmount neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Constructed in the late 1800s, the two buildings were excellent examples of the vernacular urban architecture of the era, but unfortunately became neglected and downtrodden, and were demolished in 2016 as there was no historical protections or will to reuse the buildings. I did take some artistic license with the storefront building, as it had an angled front that aligned with the road, rather than the lot lines, and I decided it was too difficult to do and would be unusable by me in any of my other endeavors, though the measurements and detailing are still rather accurate. The loss of these two buildings is a troubling symptom of the area's ongoing decay.
