Friendship 1 (UESPA-1) was an unmanned deep space probe launched by the United Earth Space Probe Agency in 2067 with the purpose of contacting other species. At 117.4 meters in length, it was launched just four years after Zephram Cochrane’s historic maiden warp drive flight of the Phoenix, and was packed with technology necessary to allow other species to develop the means to communicate with Earth. Unfortunately, contact with the probe would be lost in 2248. The Friendship-1 model presented here is based on the final CGI re-design model created by artist Pierre Drolet for the Star Trek – Voyager Season 7 / Episode 21 titled “FRIENDSHIP 1”.
