Here is my new SketchyPhysics model. It's a fully controllable F16! Just click on the "Fligth Simulator!" scene and start the animation.
You need SketchyPhysics 2.0 beta to run the simulation. You can download it here: http://code.google.com/p/sketchyphysics2/downloads/list.
It probably works the best with a Xbox 360 controller, but another type of controller should be fine as well. Use the left analog stick to control the height and to make it lean to the left or the right. Use the triggers (on a 360-controller) to make the airplane go left and right, without leaning. You can also set the speed (not with a controller). The trick is, that it's actually not really flying. The airplane is a part of a car that can move up and down. To see how it all works, just click on the construction scene.
I know the playground is rubbish. After spending many time on the airplane itself, I didn't really feel like making a playground. Feel free to use my model and create your own playground.
Special thanks to WilliamT. I used his model of the General Dynamics F16 Fighting Falcon model and C.
