These crates are used by the Covenant throughout their genocidal campaign against the human race. Found in almost every Covenant-occupied location, these crates are often seen shut. They carry, and possibly recharge, Covenant plasma weapons, although many magazine-fed weapons (Brute Shot, Spiker, Carbine) can be seen resting in them. In Halo 1, they were immobile during gameplay. They may also be used to carry cargo, supplies, and spare parts, although there is very little evidence as to this. In Halo 2 and 3, however, they can be moved by just about anything, from explosions to projectiles to vehicles. In this model, I included two crates, both in the Covenant color scheme. They both have an interior for weapons placement. I did not include the front cover of the purple one because it is an example.
