Pitstone Windmill, owned and managed by the National Trust, was built in 1627 and is possibly the oldest windmill in the British Isles. The design is called a post-mill, which means that the top wooden section will rotate as the direction of the wind changes (although 20th Century adjustments now prevent this from happening). #National_Trust #Pitstone_Windmill #Windmill
