Benefits: Biodiversity corridors seek to generate connections between urban ecological cores and/or nodes to improve the functioning of urban ecosystems. Design and implementation: Ecological cores and nodes within the intervention zone must be identified, their condition and biological needs must be assessed, and physical barriers generated by the urban environment must be identified. With the implementation of new vegetation elements with appropriate characteristics, we seek to generate the missing connections, in addition to proposing a vegetated landscape for the neighborhood.
