Neotraditional paired home / duplex / semi-detached house

Neotraditional paired home / duplex / semi-detached house

Dan T.
I thought I uploaded this model a while back, but I didn't see it in the collection. Anyhow, this is another example of a paired house, a type of duplex or semi-detached house that's increasingly common in traditional; neighborhood development (TND) projects in the Denver/Boulder/Fort Collins area in Colorado, and the Calgary and Edmonton areas in Alberta. The architectural style of this model wouldn't be out of place in Midwest, Northeast, or Pacific Northwest states. Each unit has a small "open concept" (I hate that phrase) living/dining/kitchen area, front porch, ground floor master suite, 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths. This model has "four-sided design" - architectural details and fenestration are more-or-less consistent on all sides. I made this model for form-based zoning code illustration. All elevations are detailed, and there's interior floors, walls, ceilings, stairwells, and stairs. However, there's no interior detail work like molding, cabinets, appliances, or interior doors. #attached #building #duplex #home #house #infill #new_urban #paired_home #paired_house #residence #semidetached_house #suburban #T4 #TND #two_family #two_household #urban #zoning
