This is my rendition of a ship similar to the legendary SS City of Rio de Janeiro. The Cirty of Rio was a steam powered passenger ship that operated between 1878 and 1901. The City of Rio sank on February 21 near the entrance to San Francisco bay with most of her 220 passengers and cargo. #1878 #mail #mast #passenger #Rio_de_Janeiro #ship
