This is the recently facelifted MSX XT8 5.0l LS. It's still MSX's longest and widest car, but the XC8 LWB is longer. The facelift includes tougher suspension components with more travel, wider wheelarches with black cladding for side protection, American Racing wheels by Stunter4life, and the abvailiablity of an auto (six speed) on 5 cylinder twin turbo diesel models, and an upgrade from 4-6 speeds in petrol V8s and single turbo diesel 5s. A 6 cylinder diesel is coming. There is also a new dashboard, a move from 6-7 seats on the LX and LS, stability control, curtain airbags and a reversing camera on the LSE, optional on the LX/LS. The engine is a revised version of the 5.0l COBRA CXL V8 with 280kW@5100rpm and 620Nm@1700rpm. It has dual range part time 4WD with diff lock, hill descent/ascent control and traction control. the suspension is leaf springs/live axle rear, double wishbone front. The LSE will have optional air suspension.
