This is how I'm going to build my chicken coop this week. The large bulky roof is for a strawberry garden. There is an attached run that isn't included in the drawing. Even without the run there is some ground space for the chickens at all time. The dimensions are acurate. I chose this size because it was the size of the glass I am using in the garden bed. The glass can be the most difficult to get so I get that first and based my coop around it. It is small, but I have bantam breeds now and only three hens. There's not much inside but a perch, nesting boxes, feeder and watering can.
