Senna's last win and the last Grand Prix for Alain Prost in 1993, The championship deciding clash in 1994, when Michael Schumacher forced Damon Hill to retire with a broken left front wishbone. It was also the scene of Mika Hakkinen's near fatal accident in 1995, as he hit the concrete wall near Brewery Bend, and emergency tracheotomy was performed to ensure survival.
