UPDATED!! PIN TABLE IN CONSTRUCTION!! My best SketchyPhysics model yet! If any of you have seen a real Brunswick A-2 Pinsetter (if not, see the YouTube URL below), you may have noticed, that, because of mechanical workings, the pin rake does not go straight back when sweeping, but goes in a slight downward arc instead as it goes. I decided to recreate that exact motion on SketchUp, but there was only one way to do it accurately, and that was to recreate the mechanics of the real thing. Watch the YouTube url before you play the model, and if you ever wondered what mechanics were used to make the A-2 pinsetters in bowling alleys sweep the pins so efficiently, this is a (near) exact replica! DO NOT DOWNLOAD DIRECTLY! More parts of the pinsetter coming soon, including pin table cycle. Use the Layers to hide various parts of the model so you can see in detail the workings of the rake. #ball #bar #Bolt #bowling #brunswick #cycle #green #gutter #lane #mechanical #move #part #pin #pinsetter #rake #roll #sketchyphysics #strike_spare #throw #update #weight
