The T14 Heavy Tank was a prototype assault tank designed for British Lend-lease requirements. It was a modification of the more common M4 Sherman tank. It had thicker armor, at 100mm, and a heavily redesigned armor layout, giving it impressive protection as well as retaining the reliability and speed of the Sherman. Despite being considered combat-ready by the US army, it was never actually adopted by the British armed forces, as they had already decided to use the M4 as their common high-speed cruiser tank, and the Churchill as their common assault and infantry tank. #American #British #Heavy_Tank #lendlease #T14 #WWII
