Mountain View Memorial - The Brady Chapel

Mountain View Memorial - The Brady Chapel

Ken H.
The Brady Chapel was erected in memory of James H. Brady. He served as governor of Idaho from 1908 to 1911 and U.S. senator from 1913 until his death on Jan 13, 1919 at the age of 55. The chapel was dedicated on Memorial Day 1922 the same day as the Lincoln Memorial. The Brady lot is located to the east of the chapel. The chandelier inside the chapel shines in memory of Twyla I. Thomas. Her vision, love of history and hard work were in part what formed the cemetery committee and made the restoration of the chapel a reality. Twyla Thomas was a local business woman and co-owner of Wm. Walker Monument Co. until her death on Jan 16, 1994 at the age of 82. #Cemetary_memorial
