Designed by Sterling Prize-winning architects Feilden Clegg Bradley, Broadcasting Tower is a new development in Broadcasting Place in Woodhouse Lane, immediately adjacent to Leeds met and close to The University of Leeds and other academic institutions. The Tower is distinctive, with comfortable and contemporary interiors and stylish decor.
The owners Downing are a British-based property investment and development business specialising in urban environments. They are headquartered in Liverpool and have been providing student accommodation in the UK for over 20 years. FOOTNOTE this is one of my favourate buildings in Leeds. Not just because of the striking sharp-angular design, but the context in which the building's placed. The way it contrasts with the modest, traditional buildings within it's midst excentuates the boldness of the architecture.
